The Pregnancy Resource Center  

Our centers offer the following services to you, free of charge:

• Pregnancy Tests

We offer a free professional pregnancy test and are able to confirm the pregnancy by offering a free ultrasound.  We have a nurse available to talk to you about your results and other pregnancy related concerns you might have.

• Earn While You Learn

Our Earn While You Learn program offers prenatal and parenting classes at our Pregnancy Resource Centers.  Through our classes "Mommy Money" is earned.  The Mommy Money can then be redeemed for merchandise in our Mommy Boutique.  Money is earned by attending class and turning in completed homework assignments.  We welcome expectant Dads to come along with Mom.  Dads can earn money too.

Some of the topics of classes are:

• Your changing body
  
• Common discomforts during pregnancy
• Bonding with your unborn baby
• Warning signs during pregnancy and the postpartum period
• Prenatal topics
• Newborn Care 

Classes for Pelham location meet at First Baptist Church of Alabaster on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month, from 6-8pm.  From Pelham center head South on US-31 for 2 miles.  Take a right at Guthries, Industrial Road (County Rd 66).  Travel .7 miles and take left on County Road 95.  Travel .7 miles.  First Baptist Church of Alabaster will be on the right.  Turn right at the 2nd entrance on 3rd Avenue.  The class will be held in the fellowship Hall building.

There are also classes at the  Greystone Centre location every 2nd and 4th Monday from 6:30-8:30pm, and every 2nd & 4th Tuesday from 10am-12pm.  For directions, click on 'Contact Us'.

• Pure Choices

Every young woman deserves to be recognized, respected, and be given the opportunity to be cherished.  Pure Choices can help you reach your greatest potential in life.  Receive practical help and resources on how to make life worthwhile, achieve respect, and obtain the wisdom, guidance and help you need.  You can be successful, beautiful, and treated like a queen.

Pure Choice classes meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday, at 7pm.

• Abortion Recovery Assistance
